Top 10 movies of all time and most popular movies

Movies are both a business and an art. While a movie's financial success is (always) the first priority for production firms, the importance of quality cannot be understated. However, a lot of times a movie merely succeeds commercially, ignoring the quality one. In other words, a successful box office performance does not guarantee a good film. The Top 10 Films of All Time are listed in the ranking that follows. The top three movie rating services—IMDb, Metacritic, and Rotten Tomatoes—were combined to create an average rating, which was then scaled from 1 to 10.
